What happens if a customer's card expires during an active subscription?

When the renewal is due, Komashi attempts to charge the saved payment method. If the card is expired or unusable, the charge fails and renewal does not happen. The subscription moves to an Expired status and the customer receives a notification about the failed payment.

Komashi is not involved in the money flow. Payment retries depend on your payment provider's settings.
