Can I have multiple billing profiles under one account?

Can I run multiple brands under one account?

From the provider switcher in the top-left of the Control Center, choose Create new provider (or go to your profile → Create Your Provider) to add another one. Each provider has its own services, customers, billing details, and subdomain, and you can switch between them from the same account.

How does Komashi protect customer data?

Komashi uses encryption in transit, role-based access control, least-privilege administration, activity logs, session management, and monitoring. Backups run daily, weekly, and monthly.

How does the free tier work exactly?

Every provider gets a free tier each month: your 10 highest-value invoices are processed free of charge. No setup fee, no monthly subscription fee. If you issue 10 or fewer paid invoices a month, Komashi is completely free to use — with no time limit.

How often are payouts processed?

Your payment provider decides this, not Komashi. Payout frequency, timing, and any holds are set by your agreement with them — check your payment provider's dashboard for your schedule.

Is customer payment data stored on Komashi?

No. Komashi does not collect, hold, or process card numbers or payment credentials. Your customers' payment data is held and processed by your payment provider, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Is Komashi free to use?

Yes. Komashi is free to start — no credit card required, no setup fee, no monthly fee. Your 10 highest-value invoices per month are always free. Fees only apply above this limit, based on your annual revenue. See What fees does Komashi charge? for details.

Komashi subscription

The Komashi subscription page shows your standing on the platform, your Komashi fees, and your billing status. Open Komashi subscription from the Control Center.

Payout currency

You can receive your payout in any currency that your payment provider supports. You choose the currency when you configure your payment provider in Settings → Payment providers.

Set up billing profile

Add your legal billing details and catalog currency before generating prices. This is the third step in the Required steps.

VAT and Tax Profiles

Configure the tax rules that drive your pricing and invoices. Open Settings → VAT and Tax Profiles (under the BILLING group) in the Control Center.

What fees does Komashi charge?

Komashi uses a performance-based pricing model. Your 10 highest-value invoices per month are free. For the invoices below those, fees are calculated based on your annual revenue:

What happens if I run out of free invoices mid-month?

Your free tier is your 10 highest-value invoices each month, so you don't "run out" partway through — at the end of the month the 10 largest invoices are free and any invoices below those are charged based on your annual revenue tier. There is no interruption to your service — everything continues as normal.

Which time zone are my billing months based on?

Your own — the one set in Settings → Basic → Timezone. Komashi billing cycles and partner payout calculations all use it, so your billing month begins on the 1st day at 00:00 in that time zone, not in UTC and not in your browser's time zone.

Why is my payout delayed?

Payout processing is handled by your payment provider. Contact your payment provider's support team to check the status of your payout.
