KOMASHI — MODULE F · SCHEDULE 1 (SUPPORTED CURRENCIES LIST)
Parent agreement. This Schedule forms part of the Komashi Currency and Exchange-Rate Terms (Module F), which are incorporated into the Komashi General Terms of Service (Module 0). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in Module F and Module 0.
Schedule version: v1.0 Schedule effective date: 2026-08-31 Published at: https://komashi.com/legal/currencies (this Schedule governs; in case of conflict between any currency list published elsewhere — including any list published by a Payment Provider — this Schedule prevails).
Maintenance / amendment. Currencies are added under Module F Section 3.3, with effect on publication. Currencies are removed under Module F Section 3.4, on at least 30 days' prior notice (durable medium for Providers within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 — Module A Section 5.2a); invoices already issued in a removed currency remain valid and payable in that currency. Each change carries a new version number and effective date, and superseded versions are retained and available on request under Section 4.5 of Module 0.
1. Supported Currencies
Invoices may be issued through the Platform only in a currency listed below (Module F Section 3.1).
This list is exhaustive. The Platform's currency selector offers exactly the currencies below, in this order, and no others. A currency that is not on this list cannot be selected, whether or not a Payment Provider would accept it (Section 2).
| # | Currency | Code | Minor units | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Euro | EUR | 2 | Base currency of the Reference Rate (Module F Section 4.2) |
| 2 | US dollar | USD | 2 | Billing Currency (Module F Section 2.1) and Partner payout currency (Section 6.3) |
| 3 | Pound sterling | GBP | 2 | |
| 4 | Swiss franc | CHF | 2 | |
| 5 | Hungarian forint | HUF | 0 in practice | Invoiced in whole forints — no decimals (Section 3.1). ISO 4217 assigns 2 minor units, but the currency is not used that way and Payment Providers require whole-unit amounts |
| 6 | Polish złoty | PLN | 2 | |
| 7 | Czech koruna | CZK | 2 | |
| 8 | Romanian leu | RON | 2 | |
| 9 | Swedish krona | SEK | 2 | |
| 10 | Norwegian krone | NOK | 2 | |
| 11 | Danish krone | DKK | 2 | |
| 12 | Icelandic króna | ISK | 0 | Invoiced in whole krónur — no decimals (Section 3.1), on the same basis as HUF |
| 13 | Japanese yen | JPY | 0 | Zero-decimal currency — whole yen only (Section 3.1) |
| 14 | Canadian dollar | CAD | 2 | |
| 15 | Australian dollar | AUD | 2 | |
| 16 | New Zealand dollar | NZD | 2 | |
| 17 | Chinese yuan renminbi | CNY | 2 | |
| 18 | UAE dirham | AED | 2 | The European Central Bank publishes no euro reference rate for AED. Conversion therefore runs the fallback chain in Module F Section 4.2, and the source used is identified on the invoice or statement. This is the only currency on this list in that position |
| 19 | Brazilian real | BRL | 2 | |
| 20 | Indonesian rupiah | IDR | 2 | |
| 21 | Mexican peso | MXN | 2 | |
| 22 | Malaysian ringgit | MYR | 2 | |
| 23 | Singapore dollar | SGD | 2 | |
| 24 | Hong Kong dollar | HKD | 2 | |
| 25 | Thai baht | THB | 2 | |
| 26 | Philippine peso | PHP | 2 | |
| 27 | South Korean won | KRW | 0 | Zero-decimal currency — whole won only (Section 3.1) |
| 28 | South African rand | ZAR | 2 |
Reference-rate coverage. The European Central Bank publishes a euro reference rate for every currency on this list except AED. For the twenty-seven covered currencies, conversion under Module F Section 4 uses the ECB rate directly or cross-rated through the euro. For AED, and for any currency later added for which the ECB publishes no rate, conversion follows the fallback chain in Module F Section 4.2 — the issuing country's central bank, then the International Monetary Fund, then the Payment Provider — and the source used is identified on the invoice or statement.
2. Currencies not on this list
A currency that is not listed in Section 1 cannot be selected on the Platform, whether or not a Payment Provider would accept it for the payment method used. Acceptance by a Payment Provider is a necessary condition for a currency to be supported, not a sufficient one: a currency is supported only once Komashi has also enabled it and added it to Section 1 (Module F Section 3.2). Komashi is under no obligation to support any particular currency, may add one under Module F Section 3.3 with effect on publication, and may remove one under Module F Section 3.4 on notice.
3. Format and minimum-amount constraints
3.1. Decimals follow the currency. The Platform accepts and displays an amount with the number of decimal places that the Invoice Currency actually has. Where a currency has minor units — for example USD or EUR, where USD 0.50 is a valid amount — decimals are accepted. Where a currency is used without minor units in practice, decimals are not accepted and the amount must be a whole number. On the list in Section 1 that applies to four currencies: HUF, ISK, JPY and KRW. Amounts in those currencies are entered and invoiced in whole units. Every other currency in Section 1 takes two decimal places.
3.2. Validation happens at entry. The Platform validates the amount against the rule in Section 3.1 when the price or invoice line is entered, and rejects an amount that is not valid in that currency, rather than accepting it and failing later at the Payment Provider.
3.3. Payment Provider constraints. A Payment Provider may apply further constraints of its own — in particular a per-currency minimum charge amount, and for some currencies a requirement that the amount be a whole multiple of the minor unit. These are the Payment Provider's rules, not Komashi's, and they may change. Where the Platform is aware of such a constraint it is noted in the table in Section 1 and applied at entry under Section 3.2. A Payment Provider's constraint can never widen this Schedule: if a Payment Provider accepts a currency that Section 1 does not list, that currency remains unavailable on the Platform (Section 2).
3.4. Responsibility. Subject to Sections 3.1 to 3.3, Providers remain responsible for setting prices that are valid and correct in the Invoice Currency (Module F Section 3.6).
4. Conversion
All amounts in a currency other than USD are converted to USD for Fee and Partner Commission purposes at the Reference Rate for the Conversion Date, in accordance with Module F Section 4 (European Central Bank reference rate, cross-rated through the euro; last day of the calendar month, UTC; no margin).
