KOMASHI — BRAND GUIDELINES
Published at: https://komashi.com/legal/brand Version: v1.0 · Effective date: 2026-08-31
These guidelines are binding. Provider Terms and Partner Terms both require you to follow them: Module E, Schedule 1, Sections 2.3 and 6.3 (Providers) and Module B, Section 5.1(d) (Partners). Use of the Komashi name or marks outside what is permitted here is a breach of those terms and of Acceptable Use Policy Section 2.8.
"Komashi" and the Komashi logo are marks of BMSHI TECHNOLOGY SERVICES - FZCO. Nothing here transfers ownership or grants a licence beyond the limited permissions below, and permission may be withdrawn.
1. The one rule everything else follows from
You use Komashi. You are not Komashi, and Komashi does not stand behind what you sell.
Every rule below is a way of keeping that clear to the person reading your page. It matters because your customers contract with you, not with Komashi (End User Terms Section 1.2) — and if your marketing suggests otherwise, you have created exactly the confusion the Terms are written to prevent, and the liability lands where the confusion points.
2. If you are a Provider
2.1 You may
- say that you use, run on, or are powered by Komashi;
- state that bookings, invoicing, or payments on your site are handled through the Komashi platform;
- display the Komashi logo as a "powered by" credit, at a size no larger than your own logo;
- link to
komashi.com.
2.2 You may not
- say or imply that Komashi provides, endorses, guarantees, approves, certifies, vets, or is responsible for your services;
- describe yourself as a partner, agent, representative, reseller, or affiliate of Komashi, or as "official", "certified", or "verified" by Komashi — none of those relationships exists;
- use Komashi's name or logo in a way that makes Komashi look like the seller, or more prominent than your own brand;
- put "Komashi" in your company name, trading name, domain name, app name, or social media handle, alone or combined with other words;
- register or use a mark, logo, or name confusingly similar to Komashi's;
- use Komashi's marks in a way that suggests Komashi vouches for the quality, safety, legality, or licensing of what you sell. Komashi does not verify any of these (Module E, Schedule 1, Section 2.4).
2.3 Suggested wording
✅ "Bookings and invoicing powered by Komashi." ✅ "We use Komashi to manage bookings and send your invoice." ❌ "Komashi-certified provider." ❌ "Book securely with Komashi." (suggests Komashi is the seller) ❌ "A Komashi partner." (you are not)
3. If you are a Partner
Everything in Section 2 applies, plus the following.
3.1 Disclose the relationship — every time
Where you recommend Komashi and stand to earn from it, say so clearly and near the recommendation — not in a footer, not behind a link (Module B, Section 5.1(e); Module E, Schedule 1, Section 6.4). In several jurisdictions this is a legal requirement, not a courtesy.
✅ "I earn a commission if you sign up through this link."
You are an independent referral partner. You may not describe yourself as Komashi's agent, employee, reseller, or representative, or hold yourself out as able to bind Komashi in any way (Module B, Section 5.1(d)).
3.2 No earnings claims
Do not make any statement, promise, projection, example, or implication about what a Provider will or might earn, save or gain by using Komashi — whether in figures, ranges, percentages, testimonials, screenshots, or case studies.
This is not a style preference. Earnings representations are regulated in most of the markets you will target, they are the single most common source of enforcement against referral marketing, and Komashi itself makes no such representations — so there is nothing for you to repeat. If you publish one, it is yours, and Module B Section 5.1(c) puts it there: no false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Komashi, the Platform, the Program, or potential earnings.
❌ "Providers make €5,000 a month with Komashi." ❌ "Double your bookings." ❌ "Most users see revenue grow within 30 days." ✅ "Komashi handles bookings, invoicing and payments. Results depend entirely on your own business."
If you quote a real customer, quote them accurately, name them, hold their written permission, and state that their result is not typical and not a promise.
3.3 No brand bidding that misleads
Do not bid on Komashi's brand terms in paid search in a way that suggests your page is Komashi's, and do not use Komashi's marks in ad headlines or display URLs in a way that implies you are the official source (Module E, Schedule 1, Section 6.3).
3.4 No spam, in any channel
Unsolicited bulk messaging is prohibited (Module B, Section 5.1(b); Module E, Schedule 1, Section 6.3). This covers email, SMS, messaging apps, forum and comment spam, and automated outreach — regardless of what local law permits.
4. Using the marks correctly
| Name | Write it Komashi — one word, initial capital. Not KOMASHI, komashi, KomaShi, or Komashi™ unless the mark is registered in the jurisdiction where you publish |
| Never a verb or a noun | "Komashi" is not "to komashi" and there is no "a Komashi". Write "using Komashi", not "komashi-ing" |
| Logo integrity | Do not stretch, recolour, rotate, outline, add effects to, or partially crop the logo, and do not place it inside another mark or lock it up with your own |
| Clear space | Keep clear space around the logo at least equal to the height of the "K" |
| Contrast | Place the logo only on backgrounds where it stays legible |
| Attribution | Where a credit line is appropriate: "Komashi is a trademark of BMSHI TECHNOLOGY SERVICES - FZCO." |
Logo files. Use only the files Komashi supplies. Do not recreate, trace, or export the logo from a screenshot.
How to get them. Request the logo pack at info@komashi.com, stating how you intend to use the mark. Komashi supplies the approved files together with the permitted colour values and the minimum permitted size, and those accompany the files rather than being restated here so that they cannot drift out of step with the assets actually issued. A downloadable pack will be published at https://komashi.com/legal/brand when available; until then the email route is the only approved source.
Two rules that apply whether or not you have the pack. Reproduce the logo only in the colours in which Komashi supplied it to you, or in solid black or solid white where the background requires it — no other recolouring. And do not reproduce it so small that the wordmark is not clearly legible; if in doubt, use it larger.
5. What Komashi may do
Komashi may ask you to change or stop any use of its name or marks, and you must comply without undue delay. Komashi may also identify you as a Provider or Partner in its own materials; if you do not want that, tell us at info@komashi.com.
6. Questions, and reporting misuse
Anything not expressly permitted here needs written permission first. If you are unsure, ask — asking costs nothing and a takedown request costs both of us time.
